I tried the Agosto on at a plus-size bridal boutique. I thought it might be too frilly for me, but when I got it on, it fit like a glove and accentuated all the right places - and hid those that I was worried about! This dress was amazing and it made me feel beautiful. It completely hid my tummy pouch with the style and gave me an hourglass look. It has an interior elastic corset (not uncomfortable) that hooks on before you zip up the gown, which was so helpful – I never felt as if the dress were falling down. And I could breathe! It was extremely comfortable.

Professional Alterations done by bridal boutique: *A small hook was sewn in on the inside front of the gown which matched up with an eye sewn in on my strapless bra. *I had some of the crinoline (about 1/3) from the knees down taken out. I liked the silhouette better once the bottom wasn’t so big, but it shouldn’t be too expensive to get extra crinoline added back in if you prefer the puffier look. *Added a hook for bustling the back *A little was taken in (darts) around the chest, but nothing removed – alterations were done very well.
This dress has a definite Spanish flair, and it works really well with a shrug or scarf if you’d like shoulders and arms covered at any point. The dress looks beautiful in the catalog (see the picture), but honestly, I think it is much more fitting for a plus-size woman. Dress still has original tag that will be included.
