Cymbeline "Cadiz" 2009 wedding dress size 6 (US) ivory Chantilly lace dress with silk underlay antique style.
Almost identical to Cymbeline's "Duyen" dress from their 2010 Collection and "Beaute" from their 2008 Collection the only difference I can see between 2009 and 2010 is that the bow at the front looks slightly larger. Cymbeline, one of the world's finest French designers of bridal dresses, was founded over 30 years ago.
The dress has a v-neck cross-over front with little capped sleeves and a subtle satin and lace bow (removable) under the bust. It is cut on the bias to flatter all shapes and is a semi-fishtail and has a puddle train. The dress is made up of three thin layers: a silk slip, a fine layer of net and a beautiful antique-look Chantilly lace overlay with a few tiny clear sequins which reflect the light. The back is also v-shaped and fastens with an invisible zip. The dress is incredibly lightweight and comfortable to wear.
Worn once, by one bride. Has been steamed and pressed, in excellent condition.
Originally purchased for $5000 at AniA Collection Couture and Bridal Boutique in Portland, OR in 2009. Asking price is $2000.
Though the dress is a US size 6, it fits more like a US 2-4 (european sizes run large).
