In a sea of taffeta, ruffles, beads, lace, and gemstones, I was a girl looking for something less typical and a dress more me. This dress is exactly that. This dress has gorgeous overlays of small strips of silk organza that create a geometrical pattern from top to bottom. As a mountain girl, this dress captivated me. In a way, the layers reminded me of that special time of night when the sun is setting and the mountains turn several shades of blue that create such depth and layering.
